Mohammed Tazrouti is a fellow with LPV this winter through the Institute for Traning and Development. He lives and works in Rabat, Morocco. Mohammed recently worked as an International Programs Manager with the Organization Forum Connecting Cultures-Morocco for more than 5 years, as a trainer in the field of non-formal education and social inclusion He has also served as a trainer with different civic organizations in Morocco Germany, and Turkey.
Mohammed has been working as a campaigner in the Middle East and North Africa with the Organisation Greenpeace MENA, since January 2020, working to build environmental movements in North Africa. He is now eading an air pollution project in the Maghreb Region and Middle East, as well as research on water scarcity in North Africa, issues that are critical to the wellbeing of people and biodiversity.
He has identified youth (18-30) unemployment and underemployment as the focus of his action project in Morocco. He is using his fellowship with LPV to look at ways at to build youth personal and professional competences, enhance their employability through skillset development, and explore networking. He is also looking at digital and soft skills trainings- entrepreneurship and self employment.
